The 4th edition of the specialised exhibition forum “Autoindustry.Autocomponents 2010” successfully finished its operation.
The 4th edition of the specialised exhibition forum “Autoindustry.Autocomponents 2010” took place 29 September – 1 October 2010 in TSZ Complex in Togliatti.
The exhibition was officially supported by the Government of Samara region, Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Samara Region and Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Togliatti. The exhibition was organised by RTE-Group and Expo Togliatti.
The exhibition forum “Autoindustry. Autocomponents” is one of the large-scaled Russian projects associating Russian and international experts of the automotive industry.
The exhibition forum brought together more than 60 exhibitors – associations, unions, manufacturing companies, dealers, representative companies from Germany, Norway, Russia, Slovenia, Turkey, Switzerland, Sweden and other countries (list of exhibitors 2010).
At the official opening ceremony V. Kapustin, the Minister of Industry, Energy and Technologies of Samara Region welcomed the guests and participants of the Forum and wished them fruitful work, underlining the significance of the event for Samara region.
The business programme that accompanied the show was of great interest among the participants and guests. Leading specialists from Russia and abroad, heads of big concerns and corporations, representatives of ministries, analytics took part in conferences and round tables.
The Conference was opened by M. Blokhin, the Executive director of the National Association of Auto Components Manufacturers. Then the word was given to Stanley Root, Partner Automotive Industry Leader PricewaterhouseCoopers Russia B.V. Among the reporters there were V. Kapustin, Minister of Industry, Energy and Technologies of Samara Region, V. Fomichev, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Samara Region, M. Ilyin, OJSC “AUTOVAZ” Procurement Deputy Director, Head of the External Components Deliveries, Nuno de Morais, Project Manager of Common Structure Renault-Nissan-AutoVAZ, I. Baklashova, Director of Strategy Management of OJSC “Autovaz”, Tatyana Arabadzhi, director of Russian Automotive Market Research, and others.
Among the most acute issues was the creating the special economic zone in Togliatti. V. Kapustin spoke about the main milestones of this project.
Business Programme 2010
Matchmaking Programme successfully took place on October, 1st. Matchmaking Programme is a series of the pre-agreed meetings according to the approved schedule where the participants discuss the questions of deliveries, purchases and sub-contracting with the registered participants and counteragents (car and components manufacturers, assembling companies), invited by participants’ request. Among the guests there are top and middle managers: strategic development directors, purchasing directors, leading technologists.
The requests of the participants and busy negotiations schedule showed that the most demanded were the meetings with heads and the specialists of the following companies: OJSC ‘Autovaz”, OJSC “United Automotive Technologies”, OJSC “DAAZ”, OJSC “SAAZ”, OJSC “DZS”, CJSC “SamSAZ”, SEPO-ZEM, United Metallurgical Company.
The participants and visitors of “Autoindustry.Autocomponents 2010” noted the high status of invited guests, as well as actual and very interesting programme.
The successful results of the show and the growing interest by Russian and international players of the automotive market to the event vividly demonstrate the future promising potential of “Automotive industry. Auto components” project.
